The Honduran Ministry of Foreign Affairs has ordered the reactivation and strengthening of mobile consulates, in order to make life easier for our fellow citizens. On this page you will find the available dates, types of procedures and where they will be located.

You have probably already suffered from the lack of appointments or having to travel several miles by car, accumulating expenses and setbacks just to be able to carry out your national procedures; but you are in luck; the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has decided to strengthen mobile consulates.

Appointments for these mobile sessions are requested through the Consular Services Application of Honduras (ACOS). This new provision was requested by President Xiomara Castro so that Hondurans can have more control over their appointments, being able to make more appointments at the same time, in addition to an email for inquiries for the new mobile consulates ([email protected]).

Advantages of attending the mobile consulate

The main advantages of going to the mobile consulate are that it helps you avoid having to travel long distances, you can avoid spending more money than expected and meet your goals in the shortest time possible; so it is the ideal option if you have limited resources.

Together with the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (SRECI), the National Registry of Persons (RNP) and the National Institute of Migration (INM), with the technical support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), these traveling sessions are made possible.

Foreign Minister Eduardo Enrique Reina García highlighted the efforts and commitment of President Xiomara Castro in the implementation of the 4 new consulates in conjunction with these 6 mobile consulates, in order to reach as many Honduran citizens as possible.
